Happenings here in Manila

Heading to Japan by the end of May! Several things have been happening while I'm here in Manila. Wedding shoot, event coverage and exhibit happening! The exhibit will be a portrait session to be held at Corte in Alabang Town Center. Anyone can drop by from Friday to Monday to have their portrait taken. Aside from just the regular portrait session, the whole exhibit space will actually be an art space too. There will be more than just portraits so drop by ATC from May 10 to 13! The portrait session will be held by The Lightswitch!

The following week will be graphic design week so expect something there coming from me and The Lightswitch!

after everything, I'm off to Tokyo for 10 days. Can't wait to get some legit yakiniku.

It's Such A Date Place

La Perouse in Sydney is probably one of the best date place. I had the chance to visit the place with Nicholas, my photo buddy in Sydney. We were both bored with the city already, so Nicholas suggested visiting this place. It's a 40 minutes bus ride away from Hyde Park. The day I visited the place, there was a wedding shoot happening. Lately, the place has caught attention of some couples who wants to take cheesy photos around the area.

Railway in Sydney with VSCO Cam

going to Newcastle

It's been almost a month since I've arrived here in Sydney and the shooting spree I've been doing has been tremendously fun. Prior to my visit in Sydney, my friend mentioned that the light in the city is amazing… He was right, it really is stunning.

before going here, I was a bit hesitant to bring my kit zoom lens for Olympus OMD EM-5. The thing is, I'm really not a fan of zoom lens. It bothers me a lot that I have to think whether to zoom or not. Since I don't have any prime lens on hand yet, I thought of getting the 45mm f1.8… but then came the 17mm f1.8… which is a beauty. The lens is another story, but anyway....
I settled with just my Olympus OMD and 17mm f1.8 as my lens. The handy iPhone came along as well. Which I used for some photos while I was traveling or waiting in stations.
